How To Fix Issues Associated With The AutoComplete Feature In Outlook

Steps Involved
  • Open the Start menu by pressing the Windows logo on your keyboard. 
  • Click the option All Programs in the Start menu.
  • From the list of different programs present in your computer, click Microsoft Outlook.
  • The above step will launch Microsoft Outlook.
  • Once the Outlook program comes up, click the option File.
  • Under the File menu, choose Options and then go to Add-Ins.
  • You will find a button Go at the bottom of the window. Click this button.
  • The above step will take you to different add-ins installed in your Outlook program. Locate Outlook Change Notifier from the list.
  • Select the option Disable.
  • Choose OK and close the window.
Once you disable the add-in, restart your Outlook program and try to compose a mail. You will find that the AutoComplete suggestions are back in the program. However, the add-in could have affected your Outlook’s pst file. Therefore, it is advisable that you run the scanpst.exe file. This is the Outlook repair file present in your computer.
